BENNETT is a partner and founding attorney of our firm based in our Silicon Valley office. Bennett’s practice focuses on the representation of public and private technology companies and venture capital investors, with specialization in corporate and securities law, private and public financings, mergers and acquisitions, and venture fund formation. Bennett helps companies shape and execute their business, financing and liquidity strategies.

Bennett’s company clients cover a broad range of businesses, such as healthcare, communications, software and internet infrastructure.

Bennett’s extensive transaction experience includes several dozen public offerings, hundreds of private financings and M&A transactions valuing several billions of dollars. His venture capital clients include firms focused on healthcare and IT investments. He also has considerable international deal experience, including the representation of companies and investors in venture capital financings in Asia. Bennett is consistently listed in Chambers USA as a leading individual for deals in Asia.

Bennett received his J.D. from the UCLA School of Law. He also received a B.A. in Political Science and History, magna cum laude, from UCLA where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He has presented on behalf of the Practicing Law Institute on “Funding for Biotech Companies.” Bennett is admitted to practice in California.
